REVIEW

Viscosity No light and no heavy
Incense No Artificial fragrance, Natural Aroma Scent
Color Light yellow from natural material
Feeling Slightly oily but fast absorption
Moisturizing Non-sticky and long lasting

Let’s start from the aroma. It smells slightly like any citrus smell or any product that mentions vitamin C in it. The scent is mild. The texture is indeed slightly oily, and a bit heavy for a serum. The ingredient list is super long, and I don’t think I will treat it as the first thing to put after a face wash. It is a brightening serum, but I don’t use it the way I would use a vitamin C. I keep mentioning vitamin C, because this product has asorbic acid down the list and the smell is similar.

It does contain many plant extracts, which I appreciate, but it also uses many essential oils, which you must pay attention to if you are sensitive to them. After using them for several weeks, my skin does not seem to like this serum. I had constant slightly flushed face, or redness which little uneven bumps, which indicate clogged pores and more little whiteheads than usual. My skin was stable before introducing this new serum, and I was wondering if it was because of my make-up or this serum. But after I stopped using this serum, my skin is back to being stable again, and the little irritation healed.

I am not a fan of the texture of the serum, which makes me want to use it as the last step of skincare after an emulsion (I am not using any cream for now). I have not tried that sequence of products, because I think the ingredient list of this serum is too long with too many essential oils that can have whatever that my skin does not agree with.

When I had constant clogged skin and pimples, it was hard to see if the serum had any brightening effect, as my skin was mostly red and slightly dull/oily. I am sad that I can’t like this serum, but if you are not sensitive to essential oils, I would say, no reason not to try this serum and see if it can work better in your case!

Thank you Bellflower for providing me this serum for review. Stay tuned for the next review from me ♥
