Hello, superskinbaby here ♥ I am reviewing Benton Shea Butter and Olive Hand Cream, the brand new release hand cream from Benton ♥
Name: Shea Butter and Olive Hand Cream
Size: 50 ml
Country: South Korea
Whoa, a new hand cream from Benton. It is in the same line with Benton Shea Butter and Coconut Body Lotion that I have reviewed, here.
The hand cream is recommended for:
- Hands that need firm skin.
- Skin with poor oil-water balance.
- Sensitive hands that need nourishing and moisture.
- Rough skin with dead skin cells due to dryness.
- Skin that prefers a natural scent over artificial chemical fragrance.
No artificial fragrance, but it uses several kinds of oils that may contribute to the scent. The shea butter hand cream smells better than the body lotion, imo. The smell is not lingering, but sweeter than the body lotion.
It is free of artificial fragrance, coloring, silicon oil and other harmful ingredients.
Shea Butter: Shea Butter is a vegetable fat extracted from the nut of shea trees. It moisturizes rough and dry skin, locking moisture in. It is also known as the secret of the beautiful Cleopatra’s glowing skin.
Olive Oil: Extracted from compressed olives, olive oil is not only good for health when eaten, but is good for the skin too. Olives are rich in anti-oxidizing ingredients such as Vitamin A and E which help prevent the aging of skin, form a moisture barrier which prevents moisture loss and help keep skin firm.
Texture is not heavy. Slightly thicker than Benton Shea Butter and Coconut Body Lotion’s texture. Not sticky. Not tacky. Absorbed nicely by my skin.
How complicated and awful can a hand cream be? If it has a decent smell, is not oily and absorbed nicely by my skin, then it is a star in my book! Benton Shea Butter and Olive Hand Cream 50 ml is all that! The size is big for a hand cream, the application is easy and not messy, the texture is not greasy and it gets dry fast, plus it still gives that moisturized feeling upon application. The product is cruelty-free and the shea better is ecocert, which is a bonus. No complaint at all!
